Weeding out the cranks: Bernardi

November 01, 2018

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi has congratulated the National Party for moving to expel several members for alleged links to neo-Nazi groups and white supremacist materials.

Senator Bernardi says the Conservative Party's constitution has automatic safeguards built-in to immediately expel members who behave or show allegiances that have the potential to bring the party into disrepute.

He's told Sky News the Nationals have acted correctly in expelling members who had links to white supremacist groups.
