After 16 years of Labor Government, South Australia has been left with a critical shortage of base-load power and an economy in very bad shape.
Australian Conservatives leader Senator Cory Bernardi has been speaking to Sky News about Labor’s manic push for renewable energy which has led to serious shortages of power in the state, and two deeply embarrassing blackouts, one of which was statewide.
The issue of reliable and affordable power is a major one in South Australia, and although the new state Liberal Government has promised to fix the problem, it has no plan to increase base-load power generation.
That’s something Senator Bernardi says is the fallout from chronic policy mismanagement at both state and federal levels.
