The really crazy people are not wearing themselves out: Crabtree

October 12, 2018

The Conservative Party's Western Australian Senate candidate Jonathan Crabtree recently addressed a Free Speech Forum in Perth where he covered a number of important topics including the reform of 18C and the importance of fighting for freedom of speech.

Mr Crabtree noted the gradual whittling away of our rights to free speech and how it is a cornerstone of our democracy.

He said many people assumed that "Freedom of speech would always be there and the really crazy people would just wear themselves out and things would just right themselves".

The indefatigable assaults on free speech tell us otherwise. That's why we need more common sense Conservative Party senators elected to the Senate at the next federal election.
