The Political Opportunism Over Christchurch

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says some sections of Australian politics and the media have been shamelessly opportunistic over this month's Christchurch mosque massacre in New Zealand.

Senator Bernardi has told ABC Radio Adelaide's David Bevan that such a tragedy should never be used to try to gain political advantage and he feels the Australian body politic has suffered as a result.
