Labor's plans to impose $200 billion worth of new and higher taxes over ten years if it wins government aren't the only impediment to a thriving economy, according to Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi.
Senator Bernardi says while taxes need to be lessened, not increased, so does immigration, which is contributing to falls in Australians' standards of living.
The South Australian Senator has told ABC Radio's Ali Clarke both Labor and the Coalition are at fault here.
