Federal Opposition leader Bill Shorten should call out radical unionists who advocate breaking the law to get their union's way, according to Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi.
The head of the Sydney branch of the Maritime Union of Australia, Paul McAleer (pictured) has been caught on video bragging about his union shutting down cranes and saying the union is proud about breaking industrial laws.
The ACTU President Sally McManus made similar statements and Senator Bernardi has told Paul Murray Live on Sky News the challenge for Bill Shorten is to distance himself and the Labor Party from this kind of rabble-rousing lawlessness.
