The balance of power

October 17, 2018

The aim of the Conservative Party is to hold the balance of power in the Senate.

That way, the party can help shape legislation along common sense lines and prevent the constant assault on the values and traditions that have made Australia what it is today.

The party's South Australian Senate candidate Rikki Lambert held a talkback session on Adelaide radio station FIVEaa with host Andrew Reimer.

A caller seemed to think the Conservatives were seeking to get 'into power' at the next federal election. Mr Lambert explained the difference between seeking to form government, and seeking to hold the balance of power.
