Bill Shorten will lead Labor into the next election with the party’s central mission statement being to implement the "socialist objective", after the ALP national conference in Adelaide ignored a directive from almost four years ago to review its creed, The Australian reports.
The Conservative Party's principles and policies are diametrically opposed to Labor's "socialist objective" which states that "Labor supports the democratic socialisation of industry, production, distribution and exchange".
If Bill Shorten and Labor are elected next year, their "socialist objective" would be to effectively transform Australia into a socialist command and control economy, much like the former Soviet Union or present day Communist China.
That's why it is so vitally important that more Conservative Party Senators are elected next year so that we can put the brake on Bill Shorten's socialist agenda and protect Australian civil society and our precious way of life.
Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi explains why capitalism, not socialism, is so important in preserving Australia's way of life.
