Seeking infant consent to nappy changes sparks global ridicule

May 14, 2018

Comments by a self-confessed 'leading Australian sexual educator, researcher and speaker' have drawn global ridicule for suggesting parents should ask their infants for 'consent' before changing their nappies.

Her comments in an interview on the ABC24 channel drew further online commentary and/or outrage on other Australian television networks, the BBC, News Limited newspapers, MSN, Newsweek, the New York Post, the UK Independent, Daily Mirror, Daily Star and Evening Standard newspapers, TVNZ, Who Magazine, from Piers Morgan and The Ben Shapiro Show.

The Daily Mail Australia cited, among others, prominent NSW Australian Conservatives member Kirralie Smith who condemned the ideology on her Twitter account.

Australian Conservatives saw the clip on the Sky News Australia channel during a segment hosted by 'outsiders' Spectator Australia editor Rowan Dean and Ross Cameron and shared it on our own Youtube channel. Watch the video for yourself which attracted over 150,000 views in less than a week online:
