The Australian Conservatives have announced Rikki Lambert as their number one Senate Candidate for South Australia at the next federal election.
A former country lawyer, Rikki is a married father of four and has advised state MPs and senators for the past 12 years, serving as Chief of Staff to party leader Senator Cory Bernardi since the beginning of the Australian Conservatives.
“I’m delighted Rikki has put his hand up to stand for the Australian Conservatives at the next federal election,” Senator Bernardi said.
“Rikki has a wealth of political experience at both a state and federal level and is truly committed to conservative principles and policies. With his detailed knowledge of the way the Senate operates Rikki will be a fabulous asset for South Australia as a Senator,” he said.
Rikki Lambert said, “Labor, the Greens and would-be Senate celebrities have been laying waste to the Australian success story. We need principled and proven successful decision making”.
”This means stopping the social experiments, political correctness, high taxes, high spending, boondoggles and the ‘look at me’ mentality of past and present senates,” he said.
”The celebrity crossbench fad must end – it’s time for a common sense crossbench. It’s time for the Australian Conservatives”.
