Conservative Party leader Senator Cory Bernardi has announced today that Riccardo Bosi and Kirralie Smith (pictured) have joined Sophie York on the New South Wales Senate ticket.
Riccardo Bosi is an author, award-winning speaker, international business consultant and a former Australian Army Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel.
Riccardo served as an Australian Army Officer for 24 years with part of his service based in Kuwait. His post-military career has involved working as a Director in the South Australian Government Department of Trade and Economic Development, a consultant to the NSW Police Force, an advisor to the United Arab Emirates Special Operations Command, and a motivational and leadership consultant to business and community leaders.
Kirralie Smith is one of Australia’s leading conservative activists and has played a central role in raising community awareness about the many problems Australia faces.
Kirralie has been a powerful voice against the Islamist threat to Australia and was instrumental in establishing the Halal Action Movement that aims to pressure government to regulate the Halal certification industry to adopt a government-led halal certification system and to ensure that products are clearly labelled as halal certified to support consumer choice.
Kirralie has also been a passionate advocate for many other conservative issues such as freedom of speech, the dangers of political correctness, the importance of religious liberty and the need to confront the division created by identify politics.
With Sophie, Riccardo and Kirralie now on the Senate ticket we have a dynamic Senate team to promote the Conservatives throughout New South Wales.
The continuing decline of the major political parties means that we are now well placed to secure a Senate place in the upcoming Federal election and establish the Conservatives as the political home of all Australians committed to a better future.
