Politicians are way out of touch: Lambert

The political class in Australia is disconnected from the genuine concerns of the people, according to the Conservative Party's South Australian Senate candidate Rikki Lambert.

Rikki says this week's passage of the medivac bill, which will open the floodgates for illegal immigrants being brought to Australia by people smugglers, is a case in point.

Rikki has told FIVEaa's Jeremy Cordeaux that amid that distraction, the real floodgates Australia should be opening are those that will drought-proof the nation through improved water security.
