Peter Castieau & Matt Brazier join Conservatives’ WA senate ticket

Conservative Party leader Senator Cory Bernardi has announced today that Peter Castieau and Matt Brazier join lead candidate, lawyer Jonathan Crabtree on the Conservative Party’s Western Australian Senate ticket.

“The Conservative Party now has a strong team of Senate candidates to offer the people of Western Australia a clear, principled, conservative alternative,” Senator Bernardi said.

Born in Bunbury, 53 year old Peter Castieau has lived in Western Australia his entire life. Working in the automotive industry for the past three decades, Peter lives in the northern Perth suburb of Warwick with his wife of 30 years, Linda.

Peter said, “It is truly an honour to be chosen as a Senate candidate. Given the antics in Canberra over the last week the need for principled Senate candidates has never been greater. I will continue to push for lower taxes, limited government and to ensure that WA gets a fair share of the GST”.

51 year old Matt Brazier is a professional engineer with experience spanning three decades and four states and territories. Matt has been married since 1993, and has two adult children.

Matt said, “The left is turning Western society into a toxic mix of Nineteen Eighty-Four, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. All Australians will benefit from better outcomes through the future of this country being shaped by the Conservative Party”.

Senator Bernardi has told Andrew Bolt on Sky News, why it’s vitally important that people who want a truly conservative government after the next federal election, vote for the Conservative Party in the Senate.
