Palmer and Latham political interlopers

May 03, 2019

The presence in South Australia of Queensland Senate candidate Clive Palmer and New South Wales One Nation politician Mark Latham has angered Australian Conservatives candidate Rikki Lambert.

He says an old social media tweet from Latham reveals he wants to scrap the Murray-Darling Basin Plan and Palmer has flown into SA declaring it an economic backwater plagiarising Australian Conservatives' policies.

Palmer wants to allow nuclear power generation in Australia.

Both One Nation and United Australia want to tear up the Murray-Darling Basin Plan, blaming it for the current state of the system, while the Conservative Party wants to retain the Plan.
