Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi has explained why the Conservative Party will not be standing candidates at next month's Victorian state election.
Senator Bernardi told Paul Murray Live on Sky News the first priority is for the Conservative Party to get more senators elected to Federal Parliament so that they can restore common sense and Australian values in the national conversation first.
The Conservatives also happen to have an excellent candidate in Kevin Bailey for Victorians to support in the Senate within the next 6 months.
