With Greens climate alarmism targeting coal and cattle industry jobs, the best way to secure Queensland’s economic future is to vote Larissa Waters out of the Senate.
“Greens’ climate alarmism won’t stop with stopping Adani. The cattle industries are next,” Australian Conservatives Queensland Senate candidate Lyle Shelton said today.
Mr Shelton, who will this week travel through Central and Western Queensland said the Greens’ threat could no longer be taken lying down.
“It’s not personal, but Larissa Waters represents a false ideology that sees humans as destroyers of the planet. If we want to have jobs for our kids in regional Queensland we need to use the tools of democracy to remove her from the Senate," he said.
“Sadly, the Greens are the tail that wags the policy dog in Australian politics. The Liberal National Coalition’s $2 billion funding of Snowy 2.0 is driven by the Greens’ demonisation of coal," he continued.
“A new coal-fired power station would be a far more cost effective solution for our failing electricity grid but the LNP is too scared of the Greens," Mr Shelton said Labor had completely capitulated to Greens’ ideology and was now actively working to trash the Queensland coal industry.
“Labor are hypocrites. They claim coal is destroying the planet but Queensland Labor happily pockets $4 billion a year in coal export royalty taxes to prop-up their debt-ridden government,” he concluded.
