Nicolle Jachmann is Australian Conservatives (SA)'s 2nd candidate on the Legislative Council ticket, supporting lead candidate Hon Rob Brokenshire MLC.
Nicolle was raised on a fruit property in Loxton where she spent weekends and holidays working alongside her family. She studied towards a degree in accounting from the University of South Australia and is recognised as a Certified Practising Accountant and alumna of the Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Her 25 year career has spanned management roles across the banking, accounting, regional development, not-for-profit and aged care sectors. Nicolle says she treasured her time as Economic Development manager with Regional Development Australia (Murraylands and Riverland) where she was part of a proactive team with a vision for the Riverland until 2016.
Nicolle is currently CEO of the Riverview Lutheran Rest Home where she oversees the operations of the business and managed the organisations restructure to improve all levels of resident care.
Nicolle has a strong background in agriculture and is Director of Jachmann Farming - the family business which operates a cereal crop-growing enterprise in the Riverland, and a Prime Lamb production property on Kangaroo Island.
She has also worked as a volunteer in the Riverland region supporting children, sporting teams and the aged care community.
Nicolle is married to fourth generation farmer Anthony Jachmann and they have three children.
