Lynette Stevenson is the Australian Conservatives candidate for the South Australian state seat of Heysen in the 17 March 2018 state election.
Heysen includes the Adelaide Hills townships of Stirling, Aldgate, Meadows, Echunga, Macclesfield and Kangarilla and the rural town of Strathalbyn. To find your local electorate in the 2018 state election, click here.
Lynette has served in the Australian Army for over 25 years, reaching the rank of Warrant Officer. She has worked as a social programmer for the aged, as a Commonwealth Public Servant, and has continues to farm in South Australia for 23 years. She also holds degrees in both psychology and sociology.
Lynette wishes to enter public office because she sees an injustice in family values being eroded and bureaucracies dissolving individual freedoms. She is passionate about her country and she values the culture and standard of living Australia is known for.
