Lyle Shelton, federal communications director for the Australian Conservatives, will speak in Bundaberg tonight.
Mr Shelton, who is hosting a series of Australian Conservatives Supporter Group meetings across regional Queensland, will speak at the Spotted Dog Tavern, 217 Bourbong St at 7.30pm this evening.
It’s on to Townsville tomorrow, Cairns on Friday, Mackay on Saturday and Gladstone and Rockhampton on Monday.
The aim is to connect with local Australian Conservatives Supporter Groups to, “reinforce support for Queensland jobs and the Queensland coal industry and talk to locals concerned with the drift of conservative politics”.
Mr Shelton will also discuss Australian Conservatives’ plans for the next federal election where the party hopes to secure a Senate seat.
