Identity politics is killing the parliamentary process: Bernardi

November 29, 2018

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi has hit back at members of the Greens Party who criticise others, but can't take criticism themselves.

The Greens have been lashing out at critics this week after a stunning loss of seats at the Victorian State Election and a swag of allegations including rape, sexual abuse and bullying within Green Party ranks.

Greens leader Richard Di Natale was suspended from the Senate this week for unparliamentary language and South Australian Greens Senator Sarah Hanson Young has retreated to her standard "victim" pose in alleging other Senators have been targeting her with a “pattern” of abuse.

Senator Bernardi has told Peta Credlin on Sky News Senator Hanson Young simply can't take criticism and her fall back position is to always resort to playing the victim card.
