Hinch hypocrisy exposed

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says Derryn Hinch has deserted border security after saying he would defend it. 

Justice Party Victorian Senator Hinch supported the medivac bill in the Senate on Wednesday, ensuring the controversial legislation became law which allows doctors to decide which illegal immigrants are brought back to Australia.

Meanwhile the Australian reports, an illegal immigrant who allegedly assaulted, stalked and intimated nurses at a North Sydney hospital after he was transferred there for medical treatment has denied the charges against him.

The Afghani man, arrived in Australia via Christmas Island in 2013. He was transferred from Nauru to the Royal North Shore Hospital on January 4 for medical treatment.

Just days later, while in the care of two nurses at the hospital, he ­allegedly grabbed both of them on the buttocks.

Senator Bernardi told Peta Credlin on Sky News Senator Hinch's vote exposes his lack of conviction and principle.
