Heidi Greaves moved to Southern Adelaide with her family from Alice Springs in 1985.
On the Coast reports, since making the move to the area the Australian Conservatives candidate for the seat of Mawson has managed to create and run a business, see her two kids go through local school and is a volunteer firefighter with the Willunga CFS.
“I love the southern community; this is such an incredibly diverse part of the state with so many opportunities to contribute.”
“I am passionate about retaining that sense of community that exists, while at the same time creating an environment where businesses and the economy can be supported and thrive, providing local jobs for our kids.”
Ms Greaves believes that come election time she will be able to offer voters in the area a better option for numerous reasons.
“I share the principled values of the Australian Conservatives just like I shared the values of the Family First Party and was so pleased when they merged.”
“They are consistent, constant, and trustworthy.”
Ms Greaves said ensuring that the best interests of families and communities came first in policy decisions was a priority, “Promoting good policy and decision-making that ensures additional infrastructure and resources are directed to the residents and businesses of Mawson,” she said.
She highlighted a range of upgrades she would support, “The Australian Conservatives support the duplication of Main South Road from Seaford to Sellicks Beach,” she said.
“However it will also advocate for additional infrastructure spend on an overpass at Tatachilla Road, providing the safest option for commuters and tourists to our region.”
Ms Greaves said she would also back additional services and upgrades for Noarlunga Hospital and the valued Community Hospitals at McLaren Vale and Kangaroo Island.
