Green theology has infected both major parties: Bernardi

July 17, 2018

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg's claim that the Turnbull government has to put forward an energy policy that has the support of both major parties is irrational.

The Coalition government's National Energy Guarantee attempts, but fails, to combine the goals of reliable electricity and lower carbon emissions in a single policy while at the same time trying to appease disaffected backbench government MPs.

Senator Bernardi has told FIVEaa's Leon Byner that just doesn't make sense.
