Governments urged to keep Safe Schools

June 14, 2018

Unions are urging Governments around Australia to keep the Safe Schools programs running as Federal Government funding for the anti-bullying and sex education programs ends.

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi said, “Never has there been a more misnamed program in the history of government objectives. It’s not about anti-bullying. It’s Marxist propaganda”.

The Safe Schools program created a nationwide storm over its alleged promotion of radical gender theory and the sexual nature of some resources.

Federal Opposition leader Bill Shorten has refused to rule out reintroducing the controversial program should Labor win the next election.

“It’s conditioning kids into accepting or even experimenting with a same-sex attraction. It paints as a homophobe, abnormal or a bigot anyone who wants to stick up for traditional values and the reality that there are only two genders,” Senator Bernardi said.

The South Australian Senator has told Peta Credlin on Sky News the program is totally inappropriate for younger Australians.
