Government does things badly: Bernardi

Calls from the so-called "Monash Forum" of more than 20 Coalition MPs for the Federal Government to spend $4 billion of taxpayers’ money to redevelop a coal-fired power station have been blasted by Australian Conservatives' leader Cory Bernardi.

The South Australian Senator told the Daily Telegraph's Miranda Devine Live program,the suggestion is just another in a series of fanciful, big-government ideas from Malcolm Turnbull's Government which don't address the fundamental economic concerns of private sector investors.
