Free speech undermined: Walsh

Free speech is being undermined by our laws and the conduct of extremists, according to the Conservative Party's NSW Upper House candidate Dr Greg Walsh.

"Sonia Kruger, Andrew Bolt, Archbishop Porteous, Bernard Gaynor, Bill Leak, the QUT students... the list just keeps getting longer," Dr Walsh said.

Last Sunday the Australian Conservatives fought back at a rally outside the NSW Parliament House.

Senate candidates Sophie York and Riccardo Bosi joined Dr Walsh in rallying against laws that prevent us from publicly discussing some of the most important political, ethical and religious issues we face.

"Our policy is clear," Dr Walsh said, "We will abolish section 18C and its State and Territory equivalents".
