The Conservative Party says Australia urgently needs to call a royal commission into Chinese Communist Party influence in Australia and also investigate exactly how much Australian Chinese-owned assets and recourses are no longer in Australian hands.

The Conservatives' South Australian Senate candidate Rikki Lambert has told Andrew Reimer on Adelaide radio station FIVEaa, foreign ownership of Australian assets, Chinese interference in the Australian political system and the distribution of foreign aid to corrupt individuals and entities overseas is of serious concern.
