Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says Australia needs to wake up to exactly what the United Nations is demanding of us.
This week the UN demanded another $400 million of taxpayers’ money (which we're having to borrow) to go towards its climate change initiatives - on top of the $500 million we've already contributed to the fund, designed to redistribute wealth to underdeveloped nations.
The Paris Climate pact has committed developed nations which signed up to Paris to contributing $100 billion a year to the socialist programme, something Conservative Party leader is worryingly reminiscent of the UK's relationship with the European Union.
Senator Bernardi has told Triple M's Luke Bona that parallels between the United Nations and the European Union are extremely worrying and one of the reasons for Britain's withdrawal from the Union - and this kind of financial demand is just undemocratic madness.
