Conservatives leader Cory Bernardi says a two-to-one vote by the Liberal Federal Council meeting last weekend to privatise the ABC sends the right message, but might be tackling the out-of-control ABC the wrong way.
Senator Bernardi has long been critical of the national broadcaster over its left-wing political bias and massive $1 billion drain on the federal budget.
He’s told Ashleigh Gillon on Sky News there is a better way to treat it which will maintain its national coverage and reduce its competition with the commercial networks.
