A policy disconnect exists between rank and file Liberal Party members and the Coalition Government after last weekend's Liberal Party National Conference where two controversial motions were passed - one of which was suggested last year by Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi.
That motion, recommend moving Australia's National Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the other recommended the privatisation of the ABC.
Senator Bernardi has told Flow FM's Wayne Phillips the government has rejected both resolutions which shows something of its mettle - which is why more Conservative senators are needed in the Senate.
