Cory Bernardi responds to AC100 Australia Day playlist reactions

January 18, 2018

Senator Bernardi spoke with ABC Radio National's Breakfast program this morning about the reactions overnight by some Australian artists to their inclusion as nominees in his 'AC100' playlist.

Senator Bernardi responded to objections raised by Savage Garden's Darren Hayes, and the Hilltop Hoods, to their songs being included in the playlist.

"The tweets from Mr Hayes, Hilltop Hoods are the things that created this problem. We're just trying to celebrate Australia Day, our culture and our most memorable songs," Senator Bernardi told the program.
