Australian Conservatives founder Cory Bernardi has been sighted dining with prominent senior New South Wales Liberal Party members in Sydney as unhappiness continues within Liberal ranks.
7 News and The Sydney Morning Herald reported on the high-profile guest list at the dinner at a prominent Sydney restaurant.
"NSW is our [party's] largest state," said Senator Bernardi, who resigned from the Liberals last year. "We're already at 40 per cent of the membership of the [NSW] Liberal party. We'll field candidates and do everything we can to get them elected".
