The Turnbull government has ruled out any compromises on its company tax reforms and will push ahead with a vote on the remainder of its package when the Senate next sits in August.
The Conservative Party's lead candidate for the Senate in Victoria, Kevin Bailey, says recent polling suggests majority public support in favour of the full package.
Mr Bailey, who for many years was a financial commentator on ABC Radio in Melbourne, says the constant flip-flopping by members of the crossbench on the tax cuts is another reason you should vote Conservative in the Senate at the next federal election.
He says by doing that, the Conservative Senators can use principled policies to shape common sense political outcomes for Australia.
