With five federal by-elections to be held this weekend, Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi has expressed his views on the by-election in his home state of South Australia - the Adelaide Hills/Fleurieu/Kangaroo Island-based seat of Mayo.
Senator Bernardi says if Labor lose one or two of the interstate seats to the Coalition (most likely, Longman in Quensland and Braddon in Tasmania), the pressure will be on Bill Shorten's leadership ahead of the next general election, due by May next year.
And he's told Flow FM's Wayne Phillips he's surprised that Pauline Hanson (pictured) has disappeared on holiday in the lead up to the crucial Longman by-election being held in her home state of Queensland.
