Bruce Hicks is the Australian Conservatives candidate for the South Australian state seat of Finniss in the 17 March 2018 state election.
The seat of Finniss covers the South Coast communities of Victor Harbor, Goolwa, Port Elliot and Mount Compass on the Fleurieu Peninsula. To find your local electorate in the 2018 state election, click here.
Bruce Hicks was born to a farming family at Penola in the South East and later lived at Frances where he had a mixed family business. Later in his teens, he studied to become a teacher and currently holds a Master of Education. His wife Melita and one of his daughters manage a family business while one of his sons runs a dairy farm on their property. He is currently the Principal of Tyndale Christian School in Murray Bridge.
Bruce believes Australian Conservatives has policies that are an interesting mix of progressive economic and development initiatives while committed to preserving all that is good in Australian society and culture. Through politics, Bruce wants to foster a stable honest government, sensible development and preservation of our wonderful lifestyle for his six children and ten grandchildren.
