Clive Palmer’s new Senate ally, Brian Burston, has been accused of selling out, after he flipped from being a One Nation Senator, to an Independent and then to a United Australia Party Senator in the space of a week.
Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says he's very sceptical of the Queensland businessman's claim that since Sunday he's had more than 20,000 people contact him asking to join his new party.
Senator Bernardi has told Paul Murray Live on Sky News he doesn’t think Senator Burston has done the right thing in joining forces with Mr Palmer.
