Bernardi takes on Greens-led council attacks on Australia Day

October 17, 2017

Australian Conservatives Senator Cory Bernardi has taken aim at Greens-led councils in the Melbourne metropolitan area - and a South Australian council - for leading the attacks on Australia Day.

Whilst also noting the City of Fremantle backed down somewhat from its original call to shift Australia Day, Senator Bernardi identified the Greens party and its endorsed councillors as the source of the increasing attacks on our national celebration of unity.
