Conservatives leader Cory Bernardi supports Channel 9 host Sonia Kruger who will face a hearing in the Civil and Administrative Tribunal on 19 June over remarks she made about Muslims two years ago.
Senator Bernardi says he thinks the fact she’s been called before a tribunal for speaking her mind is an abject disgrace.
The Today Extra and The Voice host had a racial vilification complaint laid against her, after suggesting in 2016 that Muslim immigration should be temporarily halted.
Senator Bernardi says he will continue to push for the abolition of such government tribunals which are regularly misused by left wing activists trying to crush our rights to free speech.
