Bernardi joins SA senators fighting river water 'theft'

November 28, 2017

The Adelaide Advertiser reports today that plans to strip 70 billion litres from the historic Murray Darling Basin Agreement could be blocked by South Australian senators, including Senator Bernardi.

Concerns have been raised about NSW management and policing of illegal water taking, including concerns raised by Senator Bernardi in Question Time in August

Senator Bernardi said the Basin Plan should not be changed until mismanagement claims had been resolved.
