The Conservative Party's Victorian Senate candidate Kevin Bailey, who worked for three decades in the finance industry before entering politics, says the banking royal commission hasn't fully addressed problems with the industry.
Mr Bailey told ABC Radio, in light of the royal commission's recommendations it's important that consumers ask questions when getting loans or financial advice.
Mr Bailey also said that when it comes to brokers, advisors or banks, accountability and transparency regarding fees or conflicts of interest are paramount.
