A recently retired ABC presenter wrote to the Adelaide Advertiser newspaper this week, asserting that the ABC must 'reassess (their) priorities and abandon the costly failed attempt to compete directly against the commercial broadcasters'.
Former Classic FM presenter and producer Simon Healy's letter comes as the Coalition Government conducts a 'competitive neutrality' review that goes to the heart of Mr Healy's complaint.
The letter to the editor (reproduced below) lends further weight to Australian Conservatives' criticisms that the ABC has got too large and is out of control.
